While crypto alerts will always stay the first priority for Coinwink, the new crypto portfolio feature now practically accompanies and also interconnects crypto alerts with crypto assets management.
We have made many user interface changes during incremental upgrades throughout the last year. Recently, we have also added new currencies, so now the portfolio can be viewed in BTC, ETH, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD.
The aim of the user interface and experience is that the portfolio should be simple to use, fast and intuitive. We do not plan to compete with heavy-weight portfolio apps by adding lots of features. We want to make it 1) as a good to have useful feature, and 2) to provide some innovative interconnections between alerting system and portfolio.
The first feature of this kind is the new portfolio alerts system. The user can now set multi-coin, continuous alerts for any coin in the portfolio. This is a unique feature, still in its experimental beta stage, and requires some more testing. As always, we appreciate your feedback.
Portfolio alerts are multiple-coin alerts. You will receive an alert when any coin in your portfolio will increase/decrease in 1h/24h by a specified percentage.
Example: Add a few coins to your portfolio. Activate the 1h 5% increase alert. Now each time any coin from your portfolio increases by 5% (or more) in 1 hour period, you will receive an alert.
Portfolio alerts are continuous. It means that if the alert was sent, it will be sent again the next time the conditions are met. There is no need to manually re-activate it.
For each individual portfolio coin, the same type of alert is sent once in 24h. For example, if you received an alert that Bitcoin increased more than 5% in 1h, all the following Bitcoin portfolio alerts for the 1h increase will be ignored for the next 24h.
It means that during a 24 hour period, you can receive a maximum of 4 alerts for a single portfolio coin. For example, Bitcoin increased and decreased in 1h and in 24h by 5%.
While basic alerts are sent every 1–2 minutes, portfolio alerts are sent every 5 minutes.
